Nightingale Medical College & Hospital was founded with the noble vow of serving the distressed & destitute on one hand, and producing quality doctors for the future generation who will abide by all code of medical ethics & convention. This institution aspires to achieve national and international recognition for patient care & treatment to the highest accuracy as well as to create leaders of medical profession who would be competent, efficient, committed, caring & willing to serve in national & international level.

The main aim of the college is to establish a seat of excellence for broad based medical education with a focus on professional development for the students to equip them with knowledge, skill & attitude necessary not only to address the priority health problems for the community, but also to acquire a firm basis for future training and studies. With that end in view, the academic faculty has been teamed up with very highly qualified teachers and the attached hospital set up as the most modern in architecture & well equipped with all the latest facilities. All these will help the students to gain knowledge, skill and attitude to deal with the health problems of the community & society and make their basics very sound for future training and higher studies.

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome the 11th Batch of Nightingale Medical College. The College which started in the academic year 2005-2006 is now running very smoothly and satisfactorily. Unlike many other private medical colleges, our college has a large campus, spacious academic buildings & class rooms, self-sufficient practical rooms & laboratories, huge library, play-ground, separate students’ hostel for boys & girls and all the facilities & paraphernalia required of a self-contained medical college. We have a team of excellent faculty members who are competent and experienced teachers. They are very sincere, co-operative and dedicated medical professionals imparting quality medical education to the students. Here the course curriculum and professional examination procedure is decided and controlled by BM&DC; and Dhaka University respectively.

Nightingale Medical College is committed to producing quality doctors for the country. We believe that those who pass out from here shall be able to regain the confidence of people to the medical profession. It is our only expectation that our students observing all codes of medical ethics and Geneva Declaration would dedicate themselves to the service of humanity and our goal is to train, develop and build them up with that end in view.
